  In support of the Kingdom's youth and to prepare them to embark on their professional future, the General Investment Authority<\/a> The application process for the second batch of the \u201cLeaders of Transformation\u201d program, which aims to train newly graduated students, in collaboration with the world\u2019s leading companies, will take place during the Authority\u2019s celebration of the first batch of the \u201cLeaders of Transformation\u201d program at its headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of the Authority\u2019s Governor of Investment Affairs, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Omar. This ambitious initiative aims to expand the \u201cLeaders of Transformation\u201d program across the Kingdom\u2019s various regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training of young cadres<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cLeaders of Transformation\u201d program aims to expand the training and qualification of newly graduated students by partnering with the world\u2019s best companies to become leaders of the future. Faraj bin Salem Al-Mignam, Deputy Governor of the General Investment Authority for Supporting Services, explained that the Authority is pleased today to launch the second batch of the program for the second consecutive year, which we have achieved success with its first edition, ensuring a bright future for the people of the country. 25 newly graduated students were trained in engineering disciplines across their various tracks, finance, marketing, law, and information technology, noting that the program is part of the Authority\u2019s plans to provide opportunities for Saudi youth to serve their homeland in all fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Internship and external training with the best companies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Al Manjam explained that the program will be implemented annually and will see continuous development to include quality elements from different disciplines into the work team of the General Investment Authority, in line with its approach to adopting initiatives that contribute to achieving the 2030 vision. They will be trained within the Kingdom and abroad, according to an integrated plan that includes developing their general and specialized professional skills in the field of development and understanding. He stated that the program\u2019s activities include holding training sessions for transformation leaders who are at the helm of their work within the authority and with global companies outside the Kingdom; the program lasts for 9 months and ends with employment with the General Authority for Investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attracting global companies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It is reported that the General Investment Authority recently signed a cooperation agreement with the global company Baker Hughes General Electric; with the aim of training newly graduated national talent selected for its \u201cLeaders of Transformation\u201d program. The agreement included sending the talent for direct on-the-job training for six months at the company\u2019s headquarters in the United States and the United Kingdom, which will enable them to gain experience working in global companies. Moreover, one of the most important roles assigned to them after the training is to attract global companies to invest in the Kingdom and develop investment opportunities in line with the needs and priorities of those companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admission criteria for the program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Regarding the admission criteria for the program, Al-Manjam confirmed that the program is available to Saudis under the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Proficiency in English in speaking and writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Obtaining a bachelor's or master's degree in one of the disciplines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Civil engineering, biomedical engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Pharmacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supporting health sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 And the cumulative average of the applicant must be no less than (3 out of 4) or (4 out of 5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 And that they be graduates of 2017 or 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
