The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises\u00abinstallations<\/a>\u00bbIn Riyadh, the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) signed a cooperation agreement to establish and operate a business accelerator in the entertainment sector, with the aim of supporting the prosperity of entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises, developing capabilities, incubating ideas and turning them into startups and stimulating innovation and creativity. The agreement was signed by the Minister of Commerce and Investment and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monshaat), Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, and the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Mr. Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Sheikh, in the presence of Monshaat Governor Engineer Saleh bin Ibrahim Al Rashid and GEA CEO Amr bin Ahmed Banajah. The agreement includes the establishment of joint workshops with entrepreneurs and SMEs working in the entertainment sector, and finding a mechanism to receive investors or those wishing to invest in the entertainment sector at the Facilities Support Center by providing technical and advisory services and training programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Governor of Monsha'at, Eng. Saleh Al-Rasheed, explained that the signing of the agreement comes in line with Monsha'at's keenness to develop Supporting Small and Medium Enterprises<\/a> All sectors, including the entertainment sector, to enable them to thrive by strengthening cooperation with strategic partners in the public, private and non-profit sectors locally and internationally to increase the productivity of these facilities and increase their contribution to GDP from 20% to 35% by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
