The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman provided generous support in the amount of 150 million riyals\u2014approximately \u00ab40 million dollars\u00bb\u2014to The \u00abJood Al-Iskan\u00bb Platform\u00bb<\/a>, which is overseen by the Private Developmental Housing Foundation and works to provide aid and assistance to families in need in the area of housing, through various programs such as rent subsidies and housing support in the form of residential villas or apartments. The support amounted to 100 million riyals from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, while the Crown Prince contributed 50 million riyals.<\/p>\n

This royal contribution underscores the importance of leveraging the social sector to accelerate development by introducing a new model of social solidarity in which the roles of government, charitable, and commercial entities are integrated, through the Jood Al-Iskan platform, a national initiative aimed at regulating charitable housing donations and facilitating connections with the most vulnerable families in need. The first track, \u00abRent Support,\u00bb aims to enable charitable organizations to submit eligible cases through the platform. The cases are then processed, and the submitted data is verified through collaboration with government agencies and accredited charitable organizations, After verification, the case is made public on the platform so that donors can pay for the cases through the Ejar Network\u2019s billing system.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the second track, \u00abSupporting Housing Provision,\u00bb aims to enable members of the community to contribute to housing projects designated for families in need, ensuring that housing support reaches those who are eligible through various projects. The platform gives the community\u2014both individuals and organizations\u2014the opportunity to provide assistance and charitable housing support to those in financial distress and in need, It also aims to increase family stability and community solidarity, foster partnerships and integration between the government, civil society, and private sectors, and boost individual participation in community efforts to provide adequate housing for the most vulnerable families in society.<\/p>\n

One of the key features of this platform is that it manages support operations electronically, verifying beneficiary data and ensuring its accuracy so that support reaches those who are eligible.
