Khalid Al-Amoudi, General Supervisor of the Real Estate Development Fund, said, \u201cThe total amounts deposited into the accounts of beneficiaries of the \u201cSubsidized Mortgage Program\u201d from the announcement of the transition in June 2017 through the end of last July amount to 1 billion, 152.7 million riyals, while the total amounts deposited for beneficiaries of the Housing Loan Initiative for Active-Duty Military Personnel amounted to 4 billion and 993.1 million riyals, provided as a soft loan to be repaid after the principal loan has been fully repaid. \u2026 The subsidized loan\u2026.<\/p>\n
Al-Amoudi explained that the Fund operates in accordance with plans and strategies designed to support everything that serves the nation and its citizens, as the beneficiary citizen is the cornerstone upon which the programs and initiatives are based, aiming to enable them to own their first home with ease and convenience. He reaffirmed the Fund\u2019s commitment to depositing the subsidy amounts monthly in accordance with the contracts signed with the beneficiaries.<\/p>\n

He noted that the signing of more than 100,000 subsidized real estate contracts by the end of the first half of 2019 underscores citizens\u2019 confidence in the programs, initiatives, and opportunities offered by the Housing Program since the announcement of the Transformation Program. He added that the monthly subsidy amounts are deposited into beneficiaries\u2019 accounts before the financing installment is deducted at the end of each calendar month. He noted that during the first half of 2019, the Real Estate Fund issued more than 68,520 financing contracts worth 31.381 billion riyals, compared to 20,000 contracts worth 12.746 billion riyals during the same period in 2018.
