The number of companies approved by the Ministry of Housing to sell or lease off-plan projects has reached approximately 229 since the launch of the qualification program\u2026 Sales and Marketing\u2026.<\/p>\n
This was revealed by the \u00abWafi\u00bb program, which reported that the Ministry of Housing grants these real estate companies licenses to sell and market off-plan properties within the Kingdom after they have fulfilled the regulatory requirements to obtain the necessary permits for those projects.<\/p>\n
The Ministry of Housing has established six eligibility criteria for real estate developers, including basic requirements such as supporting documents\u2014including a commercial registration and a Chamber of Commerce certificate\u2014 as well as organizational capabilities demonstrated through the resumes of the company\u2019s management team, and institutional capabilities, which include the company\u2019s contracts and its ability to provide labor\u2026 sales and marketing\u2026.<\/p>\n
The criteria also included financial capabilities, comprising the company\u2019s financial statements and an analysis of its SIMA2 certification data, as well as its track record of achievements and experience in real estate development, and the methodology followed for development\u2026 sales and marketing\u2026.<\/p>\n
