The Saudi Council of Engineers has launched its first awareness campaign to promote the regulations governing the practice of engineering professions. \nHe noted that the Authority will conduct a number of inspection tours to crack down on violators of the professional practice regulations, the most notable of which include practicing engineering without obtaining professional accreditation, or while such accreditation is suspended or after it has been revoked, or practicing engineering without obtaining a practice license for engineering firms and companies, or after such a license has been revoked, as well as employing an engineering practitioner without professional accreditation, or using irregular means to obtain professional accreditation or a practice license, and other violations subject to penalties under the Practice Regulations\u2026 the engineering sector\u2026.
\nAl-Anzi emphasized that penalties will be imposed on all violators without exception, with some reaching a maximum of one million riyals or one year in prison, calling on everyone to exercise caution and vigilance, and to fully comply with the relevant rules and regulations, and to avoid violating them so as not to be subject to penalties and punishment.
