More than 130,000 Saudi families benefited from the options of the \u00abSakani\u00bb program during the first eight months of 2019, as the program continues to pump more options to meet the needs of families registered on the Ministry of Housing's lists.<\/p>\n
This was revealed by Minister of Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail and congratulated through his official Twitter account to the families who benefited from \u201cResidential\u201d, attaching details of the housing options that benefited citizens, which included 51,990 subsidized mortgage loans to buy ready-made housing units, while the total number of subsidized mortgage loans for self-construction reached 27,722 loans, the number of beneficiaries of subsidized mortgage loans for housing units under construction reached 20,818 contracts, and 30,321 citizens who received free land since the beginning of the year until last August, the number of citizens who received free land.<\/p>\n
Earlier this year, the Ministry of Housing and the Real Estate Development Fund announced the names of 200,000 citizens who can benefit from the various options provided by the \u00abResidential\u00bb program for the year 2019, which provides ready-made housing units within the ministry's projects and units under construction in partnership with real estate developers, free land and subsidized mortgage loans to benefit from buying ready-made units from the market, self-construction for those who own land, and financing the existing loan, as this is the first time that \u00abResidential\u00bb announces the names of the beneficiaries during the year in one installment.<\/p>\n
This is based on the goal of accelerating the pace of ownership and raising its rate to 60% by 2020 and 70% by 2030, in accordance with the objectives of the housing program \u201cone of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030\u00ab, reducing the lists of registrants in the Ministry and the Fund and providing more housing opportunities suitable for different segments of society in all regions of the Kingdom... \u00bbSakani\".<\/p>\n
