The Real Estate Contributions Committee \u201cTasfiya\u201d revealed that it holds a sum of (254 million riyals) for which it has been unable to locate the rightful shareholders, Dr. Badr bin Abdullah Al-Shu\u2019air, Secretary-General of the Real Estate Contributions Committee \u201cTasfiya,\u201d confirmed that since its establishment, the committee has, by the grace of God, managed to recover approximately 6.6 billion riyals following the liquidation of a large number of distressed real estate contributions in various regions of the Kingdom, in accordance with the procedures and mechanisms approved under the committee\u2019s regulations.<\/p>\n
\u201cTasfiya\u201d explained that the funds for which the owners could not be located were used to launch the fourth phase of the \u201cYour Rights Are a Trust,\u201d as part of its efforts to follow up on stalled real estate contributions and resolve complex cases that had become an economic and social burden, a source of concern for judicial authorities and courts, and caused numerous difficulties for shareholders and rights holders who, by the grace of God and thanks to the Committee\u2019s efforts, were able to recover their funds and entitlements. The campaign aims to involve members of the public in the process of locating shareholders and to educate them on the methods of inquiry, information retrieval, and search that the Committee has made readily available.<\/p>\n
Al-Shuwayer called on all members of Saudi society to cooperate with the committee to ensure the success of this campaign and to assist it in its efforts to return lost property and restore rights to their rightful owners by visiting the committee\u2019s website and searching using various options such as: \u201cdonor\u2019s name, family name, name of the donation, donor\u2019s name,\u201d or any other relevant general information. He noted that any contribution to the search process\u2014even if made out of curiosity or on a trial basis\u2014could be helpful and enable the committee to locate the contributors, their relatives, acquaintances, or legal heirs.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that the Real Estate Contributions Committee (\u201cTasfiya\u201d) was formed under the chairmanship of His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Investment and includes members from the Ministries of the Interior, Justice, Finance, and Municipal and Rural Affairs.<\/p>\n
The committee is responsible for reviewing all non-performing real estate contributions as of the date of Cabinet Decision No. 220, dated 22\/8\/1426 AH, and aims to restore shareholders\u2019 rights by liquidating real estate contributions through legal channels, achieving the best return in the shortest possible time.<\/p>\n
