\u00abSakani\u00bb explained that the handover included 2,738 plots of land for eligible citizens in the Makkah region, in addition to 2,208 plots in the Madinah region, 1,116 citizens were handed over in the Riyadh region, 922 citizens received their free land in the Eastern region, 1,858 plots were handed over in the Asir region, while 4,237 citizens received free land in the Jazan region, 1,828 citizens in the Qassim region received free land, 748 citizens in Hail, and 4 citizens in the Tabuk region. The program also handed over 585 residential plots in the Najran region, while the Baha region had a total of 383 free residential plots handed over, 291 plots in the Northern Borders region, and 141 plots in the Al-Jawf region.<\/p>\n
The program indicated that this step is a continuation of previous land deliveries to citizens benefiting from housing support across the Kingdom. It confirmed that the process of distributing free land plots is ongoing at Ministry of Housing branches in various governorates, with plot sizes ranging from 450 to 527 square meters. This distribution follows the completion of the reservation procedures and the selection of a suitable plot by the beneficiaries. The program also affirmed that deliveries will continue in all plots listed on the electronic portal. The "Sakani" program clarified that the free land being distributed to beneficiaries is one of the housing options it offers. It also provides opportunities to own a villa within the Ministry's projects, purchase an off-plan unit in projects developed in partnership with the private sector, buy a ready-built unit from the market, or obtain a 100% subsidized mortgage (%) for those who already own land, enabling them to build their homes.<\/p>\n
The Sakani program's online portal previously enabled beneficiaries of free land plots to select their preferred housing plan based on their needs and preferences. This initiative reflects the program's ongoing commitment to developing electronic solutions that streamline processes for eligible citizens and provide them with enhanced online services. It's worth noting that the third phase of the Sakani 2019 program includes 200,000 housing and financing options, comprising 50,000 free land plots, 50,000 housing units developed in partnership with the private sector, and 100,000 subsidized loans for beneficiaries of the Real Estate Development Fund, offered in partnership with banks and financing institutions.<\/p>\n
In the same context, the Sakani program delivered a number of ready-made villas in a number of the ministry\u2019s projects in various regions of the Kingdom, through 27 projects distributed across 10 regions around the Kingdom, as the delivery procedures were carried out after the beneficiaries completed the reservation processes and signed the final contract.<\/p>\n
The Sakani program reported that residential villas were delivered last month in seven projects in the Riyadh region, including the housing projects in Rumah, Dawadmi, Al-Uyaynah, Shaqra, Zulfi, Thadiq, and Al-Majma'ah. Additionally, three projects were delivered in the Eastern Province: Al-Khobar, Al-Mubarraz, and Al-Ahsa (phases 1 and 2). Three projects were also delivered in the Northern Borders region: Rafha, Arar, and Tarif. Deliveries were made in five projects in the Qassim region: Riyadh Al-Khabra, Al-Nabhania, Unaizah, Buraydah, and Al-Badai'. Three projects were delivered in the Jazan region: Baysh, Samtah Al-Qafal, and Sabya. Deliveries continued in the Al-Khurmah project in the Makkah region, and in two projects in the Al-Jawf region: Sakaka (phase 1) and Al-Qurayyat. Deliveries were also made in the Hail project in the Hail region, the Al-Makhwah project in the Al-Baha region, and the Tabuk project in the Tabuk region.<\/p>\n
