The real estate index recorded a decrease in real estate prices of 2.7% during the third quarter of this year, compared to the same quarter of last year, and recorded a quarterly decrease of 0.4% compared to the second quarter of this year, according to the quarterly report of the Real Estate Price Index issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).<\/p>\n

In details, the report stated that the general index of residential real estate prices (land plot, building, villa, apartment) recorded an annual decrease of 3.5% during the second quarter of this year compared to the same quarter of last year, where residential land topped the list of decreases with a decline of 3.7%, followed by the price index of the villa with a decrease of 3.1%, then the residential building with a decrease of 1.9%.<\/p>\n

The report indicated that the general index recorded 80.1 points by the end of the third quarter of this year, compared to 82.3 points for the same quarter of last year, a decrease of 2.7%, and compared to 80.4 points in the second quarter of this year, a decrease of 0.4%.<\/p>\n

He noted that the commercial real estate price index recorded a year-on-year decline of 1.2%, gallery and shop prices fell by an annual decline of 2.4%, and commercial land recorded a decline of 1.2%. The agricultural real estate price index decreased by 0.4%.<\/p>\n
