The Ministry of Housing continued its achievements and fulfillment of its promises in Jeddah Governorate, where Housing Minister Majid Al-Hogail handed over a number of housing units to citizens from the beneficiaries of the Ministry's \u201cResidential\u201d program in the \u201cRuba Jeddah\u201d project, which is implemented by \u201cMakyon Urban Developers\u201d and provides 1248 housing units on an area exceeding 95 thousand square meters, within an integrated environment that includes the necessary service facilities for citizens. \nThe \u201cJeddah Ruba\u201d project comes among the many projects that the \u201cResidential\u201d program provides to beneficiaries in partnership with the private sector, which amounted to 69 projects under construction, providing 124 thousand housing units ranging from apartments, villas and townhouses.<\/p>\n
The handover comes as a continuation of what has been handed over in a number of projects under construction such as \u201cNassaj Town\u201d and \u201dAl Waha\u201d in the Eastern Province, and will be followed by more projects gradually during this year and next year as part of the ministry's keenness through the \u201cResidential\u201d program to enable the Saudi family to own property by benefiting from the various housing options that meet the desires and capabilities of the beneficiaries.

Private sector praises Housing Ministry's follow-up<\/strong><\/p>\n Dr. Majdi Hariri, Chairman of Makyon, explained that the plans and programs of the Ministry of Housing in partnership with the private sector have contributed during the past period to the entry of a large number of new housing units into the market with appropriate price and quality, which helped create a balance between supply and demand. He praised the careful follow-up by the Ministry of Housing to the projects under construction in partnership with real estate developers, stressing that work is currently underway to complete the remaining phases of the project in preparation for the delivery of more units to beneficiaries. Jeddah alone has eight projects that provide more than 44,000 housing units under construction: Bovardia City, which is located on an area of 556,261 square meters and provides 2606 apartments, Finan on an area of more than 171,000 square meters and provides 1407 housing units, and Al Jawhara Residence on an area of 98,000 square meters and provides 990 housing units.
