The General Authority for Real Estate plans to launch the real estate brokerage facilities classification project on the fourth of Rabi'II 1441 AH, corresponding to December 1, 2019, with the aim of developing the level of real estate facilities in the Kingdom, creating quality job opportunities for young Saudi men and women, increasing their qualification and raising their professional capabilities, and improving the efficiency of the services they provide. To obtain its classification, the Authority requires that the real estate establishment or licensee applies four criteria, the first of which is the commitment to apply the minimum standardized contract forms, such as the marketing contract, the contract of desire to buy, and the minutes of receipt and delivery of real estate units, in addition to the employee of the establishment or licensee passing training courses for at least three real estate services, as the Authority aims through this classification to develop national competencies that serve this sector with quality and effectiveness.<\/p>\n
At the same time, through its academic arm, the Saudi Real Estate Institute, the General Authority for Real Estate has completed the preparation of training packages for all tracks of services provided by real estate brokerage establishments, as the institute intensified the provision of these specialized courses in the services of marketing residential products, rent, real estate brokerage, owners' union, facilities management, off-plan sales, and the Authority requires that establishments requesting classification be efficient and distinguished services provided and appropriate equipment that meets the expectations of the customers of these establishments.<\/p>\n
His Excellency the Governor of the General Real Estate Authority, Mr. Essam Al Mubarak, explained that the project to classify real estate brokerage facilities comes within the Authority's efforts to regulate real estate activities in the Kingdom, and seek to raise the level of performance of those involved in real estate brokerage and its services and raise their efficiency and quality in accordance with the best international practices, in line with the objectives of the ambitious Vision 2030 to upgrade the real estate sector and increase its contribution to the gross domestic product (GDP).<\/p>\n
His Excellency pointed out that joining the real estate brokerage facilities classification project is available on an optional basis for real estate establishments and persons wishing to obtain the classification and accreditation of the Authority and include it in their identity, and explained that the new draft real estate brokerage system will oblige all those working in the real estate sector to apply its provisions, including the classification criteria.<\/p>\n
