His Excellency the Minister of Housing and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Real Estate, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail and members of the Board inaugurated today the new headquarters of the Authority, and the Board held its ninth meeting, which discussed the measures taken by the Authority in the digital transformation journey to implement all its work electronically, to facilitate the provision of its services to its partners and its hosting in the National Information Center and enable it to link and integrate with all government agencies. The Council was briefed on the measures taken by the Authority to implement in-kind registration of real estate to increase the reliability of the instruments and accurately describe the property in terms of its location, area, nature, rights and obligations. It was also briefed on what has been done in the areas targeted for registration in the Kingdom during the first phase by inventorying and analyzing spatial data, determining its quality and accuracy, and inventorying ownership data in these areas.<\/p>\n
The Board discussed the Authority's approach to raise the performance level of real estate offices, build the capacities of their employees, create quality job opportunities and improve the quality of real estate brokerage services through the commitment of classified offices to training and the Authority's standards to qualify their employees and the use of marketing contract models approved by the Authority to improve the efficiency of the services provided and reduce real estate disputes, especially in determining the quest and marketing services of the property. The Council reviewed the latest developments on the draft regulations submitted by the Authority, namely the draft Real Estate Registration Law, the draft Real Estate Brokerage Law, the draft Real Estate Contributions Law, and the new organization of the Public Authority for Real Estate.<\/p>\n
