The residential and commercial contracts documented by the \u201cEjar\u201d program of the Ministry of Housing reached about 570 thousand contracts in the electronic network for rental services, while the daily rate of documenting contracts in the network during the last period reached 1727 rental contracts and an average of 52 thousand contracts per month. Ejar program explained that this increase in the number of contracts documented through the network reflects the growing interest and demand for the various services provided by the program and the protection it provides for the parties to the rental process, including landlord, tenant and real estate broker, while the number of documented contracts is expected to increase during the coming period, contributing to the regulation of the rental process and preserving the rights of its parties by recording the mutual obligations between the real estate broker, lessor and tenant, and facilitating its completion at any time, from anywhere and in less than eight minutes.<\/p>\n
This contributes to reaching a balance in prices and providing services that facilitate the rental process, the most important of which are electronic payment and the variety of payment periods, as 30 percent of the total contracts documented in the \u201cEjar\u201d network benefit from the monthly payment service.<\/p>\n
The program announced the continuation of its supervisory tours on real estate brokerage facilities, which amounted to more than 48,000 tours since the launch of the program, including 32,196 during 2019.<\/p>\n
The unified \u201cEjar\u201d contract is an executive document with the judicial authorities through a fully electronic system between the execution system in the Ministry of Justice and the \u201cEjar\u201d network without the need for review by the applicant, to contribute to increasing the confidence of customers in the real estate rental sector and preserving their rights.
\nEjar noted that the tours included seizing many violations that varied from exceeding the quest commission, registering contracts outside the network, or practicing the activity of renting units without having a commercial register.<\/p>\n
