The Real Estate Development Fund (REF) and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) signed an agreement to introduce the subsidized mortgage loan program, through which the bank will provide financing solutions for the beneficiaries of the \u201cResidential\u201d program from the Ministry of Housing and the Real Estate Fund, at the Fund's headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of Minister of Housing and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Development Fund Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel. The agreement was signed by the Real Estate Fund's General Supervisor, Mansour bin Madi, while the agreement was signed by First Abu Dhabi Bank, CEO of the bank's branch in the Kingdom, Laith Al-Shaiban. Bin Madi emphasized that the partnership model with financial institutions has resulted in\nMore than 230,000 beneficiaries benefited from the \u201csubsidized loan\u201d until the end of January\nHe explained that the subsidized mortgage program includes many solutions\nfinancing and housing solutions, including buying a ready-made housing unit from the market, buying a housing unit under construction\nin addition to self-building, mortgaging the property and converting the existing loan into a subsidized one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For his part, the CEO of First Abu Dhabi Bank, Laith Al Shaiban, said that the bank is keen to have an active role during this stage in which the housing and finance sector in the Kingdom is witnessing a historic shift and a great movement; pointing out that signing this agreement aimed at facilitating access to housing for citizens is part of its contributions and its developmental role, in order to seek to achieve the Kingdom's vision 2030. FAB had launched its banking operations in Saudi Arabia in May 2019 by opening its branch in Riyadh, and later strengthened its presence in the Kingdom in the same year by opening two additional branches in Khobar and Jeddah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
