The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs issued a decision Except for contracting projects<\/a> <\/strong>In the private sector, more than 50 workers are suspended from work during the curfew period, according to specific conditions that include several aspects, including special health requirements that must be met in transportation and work sites, as well as the presence of health awareness and education, and the presence of work-specific housing at the work site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ministry explained\nThe application procedures are done through the online portal to request an exception to the curfew\nThe application is processed at the Saudi Contractors Authority and takes effect after it is approved by the authorities\nThe ministry obliged the contractor to check the workers twice a day and set the exception for contractors\nThe exception for contractors has several conditions, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- More than\nThe number of workers in the contracting project is more than 50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- The presence of\nLabor accommodation at the project site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Providing\nUse dedicated buses that transport no more than 50 % workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- The project scope must be fenced and gated and workers are not allowed to exit the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- The presence of\nenough isolation rooms for 3% of the workers on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Labor stone at the construction site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- It is required that\nWorkers must wear protective masks at the work site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Food delivery\nto the site through services and order pickup on the site's portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs pointed out that if the contractor violates the law, he will be fined, the work permit will be revoked, and work on the project will be suspended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
