Aramco said that the oil and gas reservoir was discovered in the northwestern part of Saudi Arabia, while an oil reservoir was discovered in the Central Business District. He explained that the economies of producers and importers are facing the same economic challenges at the moment, as all economic, productive and service sectors have been affected by the lockdown and the decline in global demand for various goods and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report pointed to the inability of the global financial and economic performance to deal efficiently with the rapid developments surrounding COVID-19, which increased financial risks as a result of the collapse of oil prices and the decline in global demand for fuel by a third, and this had effects on yields and the ability of countries to meet their debt and obtain more financing within acceptable costs, which means that the downgrading of credit ratings for the economies of producers is not commensurate with the surrounding circumstances and does not reflect the real situation of the financial positions of these countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mixed ratings from credit rating agencies<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The report noted that the ratings of credit rating agencies have varied over the past few days, reflecting the difficulty of assessing the current and expected status of countries\u201c economies. This comes at a time when Moody's downgraded Saudi Arabia's outlook from stable to negative due to the expected decline in revenues by a third this year. Assuming an average of $35 per barrel in 2020 and a possible increase to $45 in 2021, the fiscal deficit will widen to 12% of GDP in 2020.
