A responsible source at the Ministry of Interior stated that in addition to what he announced on the 14th of Ramadan 1441H regarding the approval of List of restrictions on gatherings<\/a> Which contributes to the spread and transmission of the new coronavirus and accompanies a classification table for violations, the regulation has been modified and the classification table has been updated to include a number of additional violations of preventive measures and precautions, and the penalties imposed for them, as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maximum 50 people<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

First: Modifying the maximum allowed number of people in family and non-family gatherings within homes, rest areas, farms, or during social events such as funerals, parties, and the like to be fifty people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penalty for violating the measures<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Second: Determining a penalty for failure by private sector facilities to comply with the precautionary measures and preventive measures (protocols) announced on June 6, 2020, amounting to (10,000) riyals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 This includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 The introduction of those who are not wearing medical or cloth masks that cover the nose and mouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Ensuring the availability of disinfectants and antiseptics in dedicated areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Measuring the temperature of employees and customers at the entrances of shopping malls and commercial centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Cleaning the carts and shopping bags after each use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u2013 Cleaning the facilities and surfaces and closing the children\u2019s play areas and places for measuring clothes and the like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penalty for intentionally violating precautionary measures<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Third: Determining the intentional punishment Violation of precautionary measures<\/a> The preventive measures (protocols) announced on 6 Shawwal 1441 AH at SAR 1000, include not using medical or cloth masks or anything covering the nose and mouth, or not observing social distancing; refusing to measure the temperature upon entering public or private sectors; and not adhering to the approved procedures when the temperature rises above 38 degrees Celsius, in cases stipulated in those procedures and measures (protocols), and the penalty is doubled in case of repetition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
