and Income Tax\u201d invites taxable establishments to submit their returns for the months of April and July"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The General Authority for Zakat and Income Tax (GAZT) has called on establishments subject to the application of VAT whose annual supplies exceed SAR 40 million to submit their tax returns for the last two months of April and July, no later than August 31st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Authority urged taxpayers to submit their tax returns through <a href=\"https:\/\/gazt.gov.sa\/ar\/pages\/default.aspx\">Her website<\/a>To avoid the penalty for failing to file the return within the prescribed period, a minimum of 5% and a maximum of 25% of the amount of tax that should have been declared, and to avoid the penalty for late payment of the tax due, 5% of the unpaid tax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the VAT Executive Regulations, organizations whose annual supplies of <a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/19005-2\/\">Taxable goods and services<\/a> SAR 40 million, file their returns monthly, no later than the end of the month following the tax period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the tax systems in effect in Saudi Arabia, VAT is an indirect tax levied on
