Economy<\/strong> - Business executives expect to realize many benefits from digital transformation, with 88% of leaders in the Kingdom seeing the current technological evolution as more of an opportunity for growth than a threat, according to a specialized report. 98% of the Kingdom's CEOs indicated increased investments in cloud technology in 2020, and revealed greater investment plans in artificial intelligence, robotic automation, and 5G networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The CEOs emphasized during their annual report KPMG\u00ab<\/a> The specialized auditing, tax and consulting firm, entitled \u00abInsights of CEOs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2020 Special Edition during the Corona Crisis\u00bb, stated that the biggest challenges resulting from the Corona crisis are finding and attracting the right talent and professional competencies, fulfilling the required social responsibility, and achieving the main objective of the company and the business, and CEOs in the Kingdom and globally indicated that they face increasing pressure from stakeholders to take more decisive action on three pressing issues, namely: climate change, exploitation of personal data for financial gain: Climate Change, and the exploitation of personal data for financial gain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Commenting on the report's findings, Dr. Abdullah Hamad Al Fouzan, Chairman of KPMG in Saudi Arabia, said: \u00ab<\/strong>Careful Executive heads<\/a> In light of the current state of the global economy and the constantly changing global priorities, most of the changes made by organizations have been to accelerate digital transformation and search for the right competencies to meet the new global needs.\u00ab<\/strong>He added:\u00bb<\/strong> The main motivation behind these changes is to establish an approach that helps achieve the main purpose of the organization. After the coronavirus crisis, many business leaders, influenced by their personal experience with the pandemic, are keen to evolve their organization's goals to fit the new needs of the moment. When making difficult decisions, they always put this goal at the center of their decisions\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the same time, the report showed that CEOs are becoming more willing to personally lead community initiatives, with 78% of CEOs in the Kingdom confirming that they feel personally responsible for the community and aspire to become leaders of change on community issues. 76% of them emphasized that millennial and Gen Z consumers \u00ab<\/strong>Z\u00bb<\/strong> They expect companies to implement new standards to promote sustainability, which is higher than the 67% recorded among CEOs globally, reflecting increased awareness among Saudi youth and society in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Despite growing concerns that companies are neglecting environmental, social responsibility and governance (ESG) issues, the survey shows that CEOs around the world, and especially in Saudi Arabia, are still very much concerned about these issues. 72% of CEOs in the Kingdom confirmed that they are facing increasing demands for increased disclosure and transparency on ESG issues.
