{"id":31006,"date":"2021-03-31T12:09:49","date_gmt":"2021-03-31T09:09:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/?p=31006"},"modified":"2021-03-31T12:09:49","modified_gmt":"2021-03-31T09:09:49","slug":"%d8%b5%d9%86%d8%af%d9%88%d9%82-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%a7%d8%b3%d8%aa%d8%ab%d9%85%d8%a7%d8%b1%d8%a7%d8%aa-%d9%8a%d8%b6%d8%ae-12-%d8%aa%d8%b1%d9%8a%d9%84%d9%8a%d9%88%d9%86-%d8%b1%d9%8a%d8%a7%d9%84","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/31006\/","title":{"rendered":"The Investment Fund injects SAR 12 trillion to grow the private sector economy and SAR 27 trillion in public spending"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Building a dynamic and thriving private sector is one of the Kingdom\u2019s national priorities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cSharik\u201d is a program that has been adopted as an essential part of the Kingdom\u2019s economic growth plan<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, revealed that the total investments to be injected into the national economy by the Public Investment Fund will amount to 12 trillion riyals by the year \u201c2030,\u201d noting that this financial inflow does not include government spending estimated at 10 trillion riyals over the next ten years, and private consumer spending, which is expected to reach 5 trillion riyals by 2030, bringing the total amount to be spent in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to 27 trillion riyals over the next ten years.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Building a Dynamic and Prosperous Private Sector<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His Royal Highness the Crown Prince emphasized, during the launch of the \u201cSharik\u201d program to strengthen partnerships with the private sector \u00a0during a virtual meeting chaired by His Highness and attended by a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers, as well as leading business figures and heads of major companies in the Kingdom, that building a vibrant and prosperous private sector is one of the Kingdom\u2019s national priorities, given its importance and vital role as a key partner in the prosperity and development of the Kingdom\u2019s economy, so that it may continue to fulfill its supportive role in achieving the national aspirations set forth in Vision 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His Highness said: \u201dAs building a vibrant and thriving private sector is a national priority for the Kingdom, today we are ushering in a new era of even stronger cooperation and partnership between the public and private sectors by announcing the program to strengthen the partnership with the private sector (Sharik), with the aim of supporting local companies and enabling them to achieve a total of five trillion riyals in domestic investments by the end of 2030.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Trillion-level investment surges<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His Highness added: \u201dIn the coming years, the Kingdom will witness a surge in investments, amounting to three trillion riyals, to be injected by the Public Investment Fund through 2030, as announced earlier this year, in addition to four trillion riyals to be injected under the National Investment Strategy, the details of which will be announced soon.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His Royal Highness the Crown Prince explained that the investments to be made by the private sector, supported by the \u201cSharik\u201d program, will create hundreds of thousands of new jobs, and will also increase the private sector\u2019s contribution to gross domestic product, thereby achieving the goal set out in the Kingdom\u2019s Vision, which aims to raise the sector\u2019s contribution to 65 % by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hundreds of thousands of new jobs<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His Royal Highness the Crown Prince added that the investments to be made by the private sector, supported by the \u201cSharik\u201d program, will create hundreds of thousands of new jobs, and will also increase the private sector\u2019s contribution to gross domestic product, thereby achieving the goal set out in the Kingdom\u2019s Vision, which aims to raise this sector\u2019s contribution to 65 % by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His Highness noted that \u201cthe importance of the Sharik Program is not limited to strengthening the private sector\u2019s role in the sustainable growth of the national economy; rather, we view it as a long-term investment in the Kingdom\u2019s future and prosperity, based on a partnership between the public and private sectors.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This innovative participatory program also aims to help private-sector companies achieve their investment goals and accelerate the injection of investments valued at approximately five trillion riyals into the local economy by 2030, and to accelerate the growth of the Kingdom\u2019s gross domestic product (GDP), thereby contributing to the continued advancement of the Saudi economy among the world\u2019s largest economies\u2014from its current 18th place to 15th place\u2014as well as strengthening confidence in the Kingdom\u2019s investment ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cPartners\u201d are an essential part of economic growth <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is worth noting that the \u201cPartnership Enhancement Program with the Private Sector\u201d \u201cSharik\u201d was conceived as an integral part of the Kingdom\u2019s economic growth plan and national investment strategy, the details of which will be announced at a later date, under the direct supervision of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, as well as a committee comprising senior officials, including ministers and heads of relevant agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A set of enabling tools has been identified across multiple sectors to support corporate activities, allowing large companies to leverage them to increase the volume of their domestic investments. Participation in the program will be optional, with evaluation criteria that clearly define eligible projects, The program features a clear framework and guidelines for large companies regarding eligibility for support. Large companies will work with the relevant ministry to develop specialized investment plans, and the ministry will provide the necessary support to expedite the implementation of these plans. The program will also be administered in accordance with relevant guidelines adopted by the World Trade Organization and other related local and international regulations and
