The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced the end of the grace period specified for the decision to \u201climit remote customer service professions to Saudis\u201d, and the start of applying the decision from today, as this decision applies to all establishments operating in the labor market, whether by direct or indirect contracting.
It is expected that this decision will contribute to providing many job opportunities in customer service professions and jobs, as it comes within a set of decisions to localize professions that the Ministry has worked on, and the agreement of the ICT jobs localization plan that it concluded with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Human Resources Development Fund and the Communications and Information Technology Commission, which aims to enable workers in customer service professions and jobs to obtain decent job opportunities and provide a suitable and stimulating work environment for them in the private sector, and improve the quality of customer experience in the Kingdom.
The decision targeted all professions and jobs that are offered in call centers for remote customer service, whether by phone, email, chat, social media, and direct interaction, in addition to labor contracts or outsourcing services whereby employers are obligated to provide remote work.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the ministry will provide support for the decision through the Future Skills Initiative, which provides programs to support employment, training, guidance and career counseling, and the Localization of Call Centers and Technical Outsourcing Initiative, which provides material and moral incentives to localize call centers in the Kingdom, as well as cooperation with the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) to provide several training and support programs for customer service professions through training and support channels such as Tamhir, Doroob, Saifi, Hadaf Leadership Academy and the Saudi Human Resources Portal (SHRP).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
