The Council of Ministers held its session on Tuesday via videoconference under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the session, the Council agreed to amend subparagraph (a) of paragraph (5) of item (I) of the Real Estate Contributions Committee's working mechanism (liquidation), to be as stated in the resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the committee's working mechanism, the fifth paragraph includes the following: \u201cThe Committee shall take all legal and statutory measures, including those that contribute to preserving and restoring shareholders\u201c rights in the most appropriate manner, whether by selling the shareholding directly according to its current value, or by selling it through public auction, or waiting for the approval of the shareholding plan, or continuing to carry out development work according to the case of each shareholding, according to what the Committee deems to be in the interest of the shareholders, and whoever has a decision issued by the Committee may object to it before the competent court in the Board of Grievances within a period not exceeding sixty days from the date he is informed of the decision, or the date it is published in two local newspapers, if the Committee subsequently completes the sale, the documents of the.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
