{"id":33433,"date":"2021-10-24T19:27:25","date_gmt":"2021-10-24T16:27:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/?p=33433"},"modified":"2021-10-24T19:27:25","modified_gmt":"2021-10-24T16:27:25","slug":"%d8%a3%d8%ad%d8%af-%d8%a3%d9%86%d8%ac%d8%ad-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%aa%d8%ac%d8%a7%d8%b1%d8%a8-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b9%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%85%d9%8a%d8%a9-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%a3%d9%85%d9%85-%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%85%d8%aa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/33433\/","title":{"rendered":"One of the world's most successful global experiences, the United Nations is benefiting from the Kingdom's housing experience: 60% in a short period of time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His Excellency the Minister of Municipal Affairs, Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Alhakil, met today at his office with the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, Momena Mohammed Sharif, and the accompanying delegation, to discuss opportunities for joint cooperation between the two sides and ways to benefit from the programs and services provided by the Ministry in the municipal and housing sectors, in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipal Affairs, Rural Affairs and Housing, Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Bader, and His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Talal bin Bader, Deputy Minister for Customer Experience and Service, and General Supervisor of the General Directorate for Institutional Partnerships and International Cooperation, and a number of ministerial leaders.<br \/>The meeting witnessed the discussion of a number of topics of mutual interest between the two sides, as well as ways to develop quality partnerships between the ministry and the United Nations development programs in the field of infrastructure, housing projects, and enhancing the standards of quality of life. The meeting also reviewed the story of housing in the Kingdom as one of the most successful global experiences for its contribution in increasing the share of Saudi families\u2019 ownership from 47% to 60% over 4 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br \/>His Excellency the Minister of Municipal Affairs, Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Alhakil, welcomed the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ms. Momenah Mohammed Sharif, and the accompanying delegation at the beginning of the meeting, pointing out the importance of the meeting in enhancing joint cooperation and exchanging successful Saudi experiences in the housing sector under the umbrella of the Housing Program \u2013 one of the programs of the Kingdom Vision 2030.<br \/>During the meeting, the participants reviewed the fruitful areas of cooperation with the United Nations Habitat Programme, taking advantage of the Saudi Future Cities Program, the Development Housing Program, and supporting the national urban strategy.<br \/>The meeting also addressed the ministry\u2019s efforts in the housing sector, which contributed to strengthening the market balance by enabling demand and increasing supply, developing regulations and legislation in the market, and facilitating the access of more than 1.3 million Saudi families through easy and streamlined electronic procedures, with the aim of reaching a 70 percent Saudi family ownership rate of housing by 2030.<br \/>It is reported that the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, Rural Development and Housing earlier signed an agreement on the Technical Support Project for Development Housing Initiatives with the United Nations Development Program, which is present in more than 170 countries, as part of the ministry\u2019s effort to benefit from international experiences and expertise in the fields of housing in general and the field of development housing in particular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a
