The Royal Commission for Makkah and Holy Sites, represented by the Comprehensive Management Center, held a workshop today to review the most prominent solutions and facilities needed by the company implementing the Masar project, and discuss ways of cooperation with more than fifteen government agencies to find solutions to ensure the implementation of the project on time and fulfill the operational requirements as planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The workshop came up with several recommendations, the most important of which are aligning the project with the Royal Commission's strategic directions and programs, working on designing an operational model for facilities management, listening to the requirements of government agencies, and aligning the project's studies with those of the Guests of Mercy program, in addition to the Royal Commission, Umm Al-Qura Development and Construction Company, the developer of Masar, and more than seventy participants from various sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The Masar Destination Project is one of the most important development projects in Makkah, and a multi-potential urban destination with King Abdulaziz Road as its main nucleus. The project is located in the western part of the Holy Capital, starting from the third ring road, bypassing the first ring road, at the western border of Jabal Omar, and reaching the outskirts of the Holy Mosque, which has a total area of 1,247,056 square meters and is 550 meters from the courtyards of the Holy Mosque, the total area of the project is 1,247,056 square meters, which is 550 meters from the courtyards of the Holy Mosque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The Masar project has a strategic dimension that intersects with the programs of Vision 2030. It supports the program of serving the pilgrims, as it provides various accommodation solutions, provides integrated facilities and services that enrich the experience of the pilgrims, provides safe and diverse paths for transportation, and works on the quality of life program, as it provides spaces for cultural and sports activities for residents and visitors, various facilities such as restaurants, cafes, pedestrian walkways and services that enhance the experience of Makkah residents, residential options supported by integrated infrastructure, and focuses on the digital economy by providing integrated digital infrastructure that supports modern communication and communication technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The project achieves a number of developmental goals, and is the main gateway to the campus for pedestrians and vehicles, and provides a main road network that increases the future absorption of the area, and works to achieve its environmental goals, as it addresses the issue of informal settlements and works to develop them, in addition to providing open areas and pedestrian corridors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The project announced a timeline for the completion of its projects: in 2022, the infrastructure of Masar will be completed, in 2024, the first development package will be completed, and in 2038, the development of the buildings will be completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
