Today, we\u2019ll highlight some additional facts. The first of these facts is that the \u201cintelligence\u201d in question refers to the intelligence of the devices within the building, not the building itself. Through the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, devices now communicate with one another and receive operating commands via the internet and mobile apps to provide convenience and save time and energy\u2014which account for a significant portion of operating expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The more modern technology is used in the design and operation of <a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/23890\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"23890\">Buildings <\/a>The more benefits there are for both the owner and the user\u2014including a reduction in emissions of gases that are harmful to the environment and contribute to global warming\u2014the more we can avoid the many risks that could lead to changes in both the climate and the ecological landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Engineering Design Methods for Smart Buildings:<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We used to have the structural engineer design the building\u2014including the concrete foundations and columns\u2014while analyzing elevations and loads, and then the architect would receive the building plans to design the facade according to architectural specifications so that it would align with the structural design. Now, designing smart buildings requires an integrated team in which the architect collaborates with structural and mechanical engineers, as well as all specialists in the design of various building components. This can be defined as comprehensive design. Three-dimensional plans must be drawn up and the building must be digitally modeled before it is actually constructed to ensure the success of the operating systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">The Risks of Smart Buildings: Reliance on Modern Technology\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;Using the internet to control a building\u2019s systems exposes the entire system to cyberattacks. In the case of smart homes, hackers may be able to obtain residents\u2019 personal information and could even open doors when the homeowners are away to steal their belongings.
