The world is moving towards expanding into what is called Green Buildings<\/a><\/span> Or sustainable, given the ongoing shortage of energy sources and the rising economic cost in many parts of the world, in addition to the negative effects it has on the environment; and no one is unaware of the risks of global warming, climate change, and environmental pollution resulting from the use of traditional energy sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Green buildings are types of buildings that are environmentally friendly and characterized by high efficiency in the use of natural resources. Green buildings have a clear impact on the social, environmental, and economic levels by relying on renewable energy such as solar energy, energy generated from the Earth's heat, energy generated from wind, and water flow energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Socially: Green buildings have a positive impact by improving the environment, maintaining the general health of individuals, and providing comfort by using sound and heat insulation technologies and using clean energy, while constantly relying on natural lighting. The architectural design also takes into account providing large openings and windows throughout the building for natural ventilation and lighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Environmentally: Ensuring the use of natural materials in construction, primarily wood, while relying on sustainable and clean energy sources prevents the emission of fumes and smoke that pollute the environment and cause many serious diseases for citizens, as well as air pollution and high temperatures that lead to the greenhouse effect that threatens many countries around the world, according to the recently held climate conference, which issued many recommendations and warnings to continue using traditional energy and to move towards natural and clean sustainable energy and to immediately stop what harms people's lives and health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Economically: America began moving towards green buildings in 1970 after a group of scientists and researchers studied the impact of using traditional energy sources on environmental pollution as well as to warn early on about the danger of consuming the entire stock of these sources of oil and natural gas. By putting this study into practice, engineers discovered that the cost of green buildings is up to thirty percent lower compared to traditional buildings, and the maintenance costs of these buildings are low due to their reliance on natural materials.
