The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources implemented 1,027 Field Visit<\/a> on industrial facilities in the Kingdom during the month of December to ensure their compliance with quality standards and the necessary requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a press release, the ministry reported that 352 field visits were conducted at factories in the Eastern Province and 255 at factories in the Makkah Region, while 213 visits were conducted at factories in Riyadh, 120 at factories in the Al-Qassim region, 47 at factories in Madinah, and 12 field visits at factories in the Asir region, in addition to 11 visits to factories in the Jazan region, nine visits to industrial facilities in the Tabuk region, and eight field visits to factories in the Hail region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Ministry affirmed that its inspection teams will continue to conduct field visits to ensure that industrial facilities comply with the necessary standards and requirements, monitor the commitment of domestic manufacturers to providing high-quality products by adhering to the technical regulations of Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization (SASO), verify product safety, and rectify the conditions of factories located outside industrial cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources requires all industrial facilities to obtain a safety license issued by the Civil Defense, to provide safety measures appropriate to the nature and risk level of their operations, to ensure the availability of emergency exits, a fire suppression system, and the safe storage of raw materials and products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During these visits, she is committed to supporting local industries across all sectors, monitoring the quality of local products, and strengthening cooperation with the Ministry\u2019s partners\u2014national manufacturers\u2014to project a positive image of the quality and competitiveness of these products, as well as the high standards these products have achieved, meeting market demand, and expanding the range of products available.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Reading time: <\/span> < 1<\/span> Minute<\/span><\/span>The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources carried out 1,027 field visits to industrial facilities in the Kingdom during December to ensure their compliance with quality standards and necessary requirements.
