Ahmed Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, stated during his speech at Future of Real Estate Forum<\/a> \u201dThe real estate sector is the third-largest contributor to employment and a driving force for other sectors,\u201d he said. \"The number of Saudis in the private sector has reached 1.95 million young men and women, a figure that underscores the appeal of all business sectors.\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al-Rajhi emphasized that the real estate sector is undergoing the localization of six activities, including real estate brokerage and marketing, with a 40% subsidy for the salaries of new employees in the sector for a period of two years, noting that last year saw the entry of 400,000 young men and women for the first time, and that major projects in the Kingdom have set clear targets for creating jobs for Saudis, while the tourism sector has created one million jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al-Rajhi noted that before regulation, the real estate market was dominated by speculation, whereas it is currently undergoing a major period of regulation and correction. He pointed out that the ministry has issued 32 Saudization decrees and that 30 more will be issued this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
