Furthermore, the certification of electric vehicle charging stations by the Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization (SASO) represents a significant milestone and supports Schneider Electric\u2019s efforts to establish the appropriate infrastructure to facilitate Saudi Arabia\u2019s transition to the era of electric vehicles andsustainable mobility.\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Schneider Electric\u2019s smart EV charging station increases energy efficiency during the charging process and optimizes the electricity costs associated with operating the stations, through a range of smart and advanced technical features, while providing a state-of-the-art charging experience for both charging station operators and electric vehicle owners alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The electric vehicle sector in the Kingdom is a key pillar of Saudi Vision 2030 and its focus on the transition to clean and sustainable energy sources. Electric vehicles are essential to achieving the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative, which aims to reduce carbon emissions by 60% across the region.
