The Jeddah Commercial Court received one commercial case, and the Hail Court received one case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This comes at a time when the commercial courts have started hearing all disputes that occur between merchants or that are filed against a merchant because of his commercial activities, and all suits related to commercial regulations and other jurisdictions stipulated in Article 35 of the Shari'a Procedures Law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any of the procedures stipulated in the system may be done electronically, including filing, registering, hearing, remote litigation, exchange of pleadings, judgment, and objection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The court is competent to hear disputes between merchants arising from their original or ancillary businesses, and suits brought against a merchant in commercial contract disputes, where the value of the original claim in the suit exceeds 100,000 riyals, and the Council may increase this value if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is in addition to disputes between partners in a Mudaraba company, lawsuits and violations arising from the application of the provisions of the Companies Law, lawsuits and violations arising from the application of the provisions of the Bankruptcy Law, lawsuits and violations arising from the application of intellectual property laws, and lawsuits and violations arising from the application of other commercial laws.<br \/>It is also competent to hear claims and requests related to the receiver, trustee, liquidator, appointed expert, etc., when the dispute relates to a case that the court is competent to hear, and claims for compensation for damages arising from a case that has already been heard by the court.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> &lt;
