Editor-in-Chief Abdulaziz Al-Issa writes: Changing the direction of the tourism compass"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Statistics and various programs indicate that the Kingdom is targeting about 70 million tourist visits in 2022, an increase of 8 million visits from last year's 62 million visits, which places an additional burden on the events and festivals offered to develop and promote tourism. <a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/35268\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"35268\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Domestic tourism<\/mark><\/a> We are beginning to reap the rewards as we witness the leaps and bounds of the different seasons that have been organized in the Kingdom, with 11 seasons across the country, including Riyadh, Jeddah, the Eastern Province, and Taif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This success and excellence did not come as a result of coincidence or short-term planning, but came as a result of effort, thought and cross-fertilization of ideas and experiences that led to supporting the cumulative efforts to develop the sector starting from the organizational and administrative aspects until tourism was granted a stand-alone ministry with a strategy that works side by side with other related agencies, especially the General Entertainment Authority. This thoughtful attention by the leadership made the Kingdom a beacon that receives investments from all over the world until the Kingdom became the most important economic destination in the Middle East attracting vital capital, ranking first with projects worth 9.3 billion dollars in 2021, this development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This boom will be reflected in the coming years in the targeted cities, which requires the real estate sector to meet the requirements of <a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/34989\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"34989\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Tourism development<\/mark><\/a>By developing and preparing existing hotel suites and working to increase their number, with specifications that meet the ambitions of the sector, in addition to commercial centers and malls and allocating hospitals to take care of the health of visitors under the umbrella of medical tourism to complete the Kingdom's tourism system.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> &lt; 1<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">Minute<\/span><\/span>Amlak Articles...
