The Ministry of Commerce revealed that the total number of existing records of the activity Logistics services<\/mark><\/a> It reached 1211 commercial records, and the Riyadh region topped the list of regions in the existing activity records with 563 records, followed by the Makkah region with 356 records, then the Eastern region with 161 records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The ministry explained that the number of business registrations issued for logistics activities has reached 514 since the beginning of the year, until August 10th, and the Kingdom has achieved significant progress in the logistics sector with the aim of becoming a global hub for logistics by 2030, due to its capabilities, as it has been able to attract domestic and foreign investments through the programs and initiatives it has launched to attract logistics investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Kingdom has made significant progress in logistics services, as the Ministry of Transport and Logistics launched nine initiatives to enhance the logistics sector, which has attracted foreign companies and investments to the Kingdom to invest in logistics services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Logistics services have recorded strong progress in its related activities, which include import and export, by reducing time and cost and increasing the regularity of the process of importing goods and merchandise through the redesign of the process and a greater reliance on mechanization. It has also made progress in digital transformation, where importers can now track the status and current location of their shipments on a moment-to-moment basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A new master plan for the infrastructure sector in the transportation sector has also been developed with the aim of improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of the sector.
