Real estate and smart city technologies<\/mark><\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With many programs and mechanisms, Vision 2030 has integrated all that is advanced into the state\u2019s mechanisms, and has worked hard to implement it. Modern technologies<\/mark><\/a> To all development projects, in order to achieve a main goal, pursued by the visionary leader, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince, to rebuild the Kingdom into a third one on strong foundations and solid foundations, which confirms to everyone that the Kingdom is a homeland of scientific progress and a center of technological prosperity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The compass of technologies was not limited to one field alone, but targeted all fields, starting from communications and industry, passing through health and the economy, all the way to the real estate sector, which has proven to be one of the most technologically advanced and scientifically updated sectors, in the pursuit of obtaining exemplary real estate products that meet the human need for comfortable housing that achieves its highest goals of making people happy and keeping the environment clean and free from pollution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0I can confirm that the Kingdom, through its ambitious vision, is today among the first countries in the world to have started adopting modern technologies in its real estate sector, starting from where others in this path had left off. Perhaps the \u201cThe Line\u201d project is a good example of what the state is striving for, in which the highest real estate technologies are embodied: creating cities that rely on artificial intelligence; there are no streets or cars; yet, the city\u2019s residents will be able to reach their destinations in just 5 minutes thanks to the project\u2019s infrastructure and the unique design of every detail. Moreover, the project is entirely based on clean energy. Renewable energy, digital connectivity, meeting the needs of the population, and the technology in \u201cThe Line\u201d reached its peak when the project announced that the cost of its infrastructure would be 30% lower than in traditional cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I might agree with those who say that the trend towards establishing smart cities in the Kingdom, including Zileyn and others, is important; the Kingdom finally adopted it as part of its exceptional efforts to preserve the environment from climate change; but it is unfair to restrict this trend to the phenomenon of climate change, and ignore the myriad economic, social, and psychological benefits that real estate technologies bring to new housing. Living in a home that relies on modern technology provides energy, supports the environment, and saves on construction budgets\u2014advantages that bring happiness to the residents of the property. This scenario is not far from the quality of life programs adopted by the government in the performance of projects of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, Rural Development, and Housing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In light of the above, it is impossible to ignore the visit made by the Minister of Municipal Affairs Majed Alhakil to the Smart Cities Operations Center at the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority headquarters, where he learned about the national platform for smart cities. The visit was not concluded until both parties signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at achieving the maximum benefit from technologies, data analysis, and artificial intelligence, and activating the concept of smart cities. In that visit, there was a clear indication that the Kingdom has embarked on the path of real estate technologies and will not deviate from it, driven by its desire to develop the sector and reach the farthest point of progress and prosperity that is expected to be based on modern technologies; tomorrow we will reap more fruits of those technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
