Imagine the daily life of an architect today, there is a demand for a new project, a blank canvas full of endless possibilities, the creative delight is about to begin, the main constraints have been identified: Brief, terrain and surroundings analysis, solar orientation and prevailing winds, first sketches are created, always combined with structural knowledge, even if basic, mainly determined for those who live in the gravitational acceleration of 9.807 m\/s\u00b2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what if only the conclusion remains between these basic premises?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who venture into the structure of metaverse<\/mark><\/a>Of course they have already asked themselves this question, a playful environment where all dreams are possible, where there are no limitations to the aspects of architecture, no more dynamics of light and shadow, just an infinite open field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The metaverse appears to break the boundaries of architecture in a faster and more practical way, eliminating cranes and years of calculation and construction. In the process, geometry seems no longer useful, thus the possibility of turning the Arabian desert city into unimaginable structures, and the idea that a successful engineer must have certain structural knowledge collapses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this sense, with the sudden separation that will occur between architecture and its structural concerns, will there still be room in the metaverse for engineering?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the negative answer seems obvious, it's still too early to tell. However, what can be observed is that large engineering companies are focusing on the idea of \u201ddigital twins\u201d and \u201creverse metaverse\u201d as niches to be explored in this new phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Finally it can be said that in the uncertain future of technology, the way our professions will behave is the subject of much speculation, however, regardless of the discipline, one thing is certain, they will all need to adapt and reinvent themselves to keep up with new habits and upcoming innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
