The International Exhibition for Iron, Metal Industries, Glass, and Aluminum in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, \u201cMetal & Steel + Glass & Aluminum Saudi Arabia 2015,\u201d will take place from April 6\u20139 April 2015 at the Riyadh International Exhibition Center. Industry leaders and giants from more than 350 Arab and international companies across 26 countries worldwide will participate to showcase the latest innovations, technologies, and products in these industries.<\/p>\n
The exhibition is held under the patronage of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones as the industry partner, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the Council of Saudi Chambers, the Saudi Export Program on behalf of the Saudi Fund for Development, the Saudi Geological Survey, and the Saudi Council of Engineers.<\/p>\n
Engineer Osama Al-Kurdi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of I'liqat International Exhibitions and Conferences, stated, \u201cThis year\u2019s exhibition is a testament to the strength and importance of these industries in the Kingdom at the regional and global levels.\u201d The Steel and Metal Industries Exhibition was first launched in the Kingdom in 2012 and has grown and expanded by 70% this year, representing a significant increase in the number of participants and the exhibition space. There is no doubt that the exhibition serves as an ideal platform for both suppliers and buyers to network, conduct business, and learn about the latest developments keeping pace with the massive boom in these industries, thanks to mega-projects currently valued at $627 billion.\u201d<\/p>\n
Many countries are participating in the exhibition to showcase their experiences in these industries\u2014which are considered vital global commodities\u2014with the aim of sharing their expertise with the Kingdom and all Gulf countries. In addition to its efforts to promote scientific awareness and related topics in the commercial and industrial sectors, the exhibition serves as a meeting point for manufacturers and decision-makers in the region, facilitating the exploration of cooperation opportunities among all parties and the conclusion of investment deals.<\/p>\n
Engineer Osama Al-Kurdi added that the exhibition will feature a large and diverse range of exhibits covering nearly all areas of the steel and metal industries, including iron and steel products such as rebar, sheet metal, sections, pipes, and tubes, as well as related supporting industries such as rolling mills, furnaces, refractories, castings, cast iron, and steel molds, steel structures, metal fasteners, sheet metal forming, stainless steel, and machinery for iron and metal manufacturing\u2014including all types of cranes, as well as handling, fastening, and preparation equipment, such as cutting, shearing, presses, and assembly equipment, including welding and drilling, surface treatment technologies, including paints, galvanizing, and shot blasting; as well as technologies and tools for quality control and inspection, control systems, automation, services, and more.<\/p>\n
It also offers a wide range of products, including architectural glass, flat glass, stained and patterned glass, green glass, thermal glass, aluminum profiles and panels, and U-PVC profiles \u2013 sliding doors \u2013 steel and wood doors \u2013 security and forged doors \u2013 automatic doors \u2013 garage doors \u2013 accessories, machinery, and supplies for manufacturing, forming, and installation \u2013 Glass manufacturing furnaces \u2013 Rubber \u2013 Paints and coatings. .<\/p>\n
Industry leaders such as the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), Qatar Steel, Al-Rajhi Steel, Salab Steel, Al-Yamamah Steel, Al-Zafar Packaging, Gulf Machinery, Al-Raqi Group, Saudi Industrial Equipment Company (SIMCO), Al-Maseeri Industrial Equipment, Zamil Group, United Arab Glass Company (UFG), United Glass Industries (UniGlass), Al-Andalus Holding, and Saint-Gobain Glass.<\/p>\n
