With wide and varied participation in various real estate sectors, the Riyadh Real Estate, Housing and Urban Development Exhibition (Restatex 18) concluded last Wednesday evening at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center, with the presence of more than 60 companies and exhibitors from major domestic companies and an estimated number of international companies, in addition to the participation of government agencies, representatives of the private and public sectors and a remarkable presence of the public to which various residential and commercial products and plans were offered.<\/p>\n
Housing Minister cuts the ribbon<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n Dr. Essam bin Saeed, Acting Minister of Housing, inaugurated the exhibition, stressing at the opening ceremony that the Ministry will continue with its directions and visions to exert more cooperation and coordination with the relevant government agencies, in addition to strengthening the relationship with the real estate sector from owners, developers and investors as a strategic partner and a key pillar in real estate development starting from the search for land through planning and preparing its infrastructure and ending with its construction to be a suitable housing worthy of the citizen and the role of the Ministry is a supervisory role.<\/p>\n After cutting the ribbon to officially open the exhibition\u00a0 <\/span>Accompanied by leaders and officials of the real estate and finance sector and senior government officials in bodies, sectors and committees related to urban and real estate development, the Minister of Housing toured a number of pavilions at the exhibition, which was dominated by the marketing of housing buildings and financing products, expressing his admiration for the development he witnessed on the urban level in which a large number of private sector companies are participating.<\/p>\n Converting the Real Estate Fund to a bank<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n The minister revealed a study to transform the Real Estate Development Fund into a housing bank affiliated with the ministry. He added: \u00abThe idea is on the table and is currently being considered according to the legal procedures followed.\u00bb At the same time, he pointed out that the Real Estate Development Fund has recently approved a package of programs that will, God willing, contribute to finding practical solutions to everything related to real estate financing mechanisms in order to provide housing urgently for those who are eligible.<\/p>\n The Minister of Housing appreciated the role of the private sector in supporting the ministry's directions, praising the success of the first experience of the Ministry of Housing, and that the new approach aims to accelerate the acquisition and provision of housing for citizens, and this comes in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership, and paired the success of the private real estate sector and the success of the ministry together in reference to the unity of purpose through smart partnership between the two parties.<\/p>\n Honoring sponsors<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n During the opening ceremony, the Minister of Housing honored the winners of the \u00abRestatex Riyadh 18\u00bb awards, as well as the sponsors of the exhibition in its current edition. The following companies were honored:<\/p>\n Dar Al Arkan Company for its diamond sponsorship, Ewan International Housing Company for its gold sponsorship, Al Omari Group for its gold sponsorship, Argan Projects for its platinum sponsorship, and Riyad Bank for its bronze sponsorship.<\/p>\n Dar Al Tamleek won\u00a0 <\/span>Amlak International won the award for Best Individual Finance Program, Amlak International won the award for Best Corporate Finance, and Al Omari Group won the award for Best Real Estate Developer.
