The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) participated in the Investment Opportunities Forum and Exhibition 2015, sponsored by His Highness the Emir of Riyadh and organized by the Riyadh Chamber from 15-17 Rajab 1436H at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. During the forum, MODON presented a visual presentation in which M. Tariq Al-Shaheeb, Director of the Business Development Department at the Authority, reviewed the most important non-industrial investment opportunities in industrial cities, in which he reviewed a number of promising opportunities in the fields of service investments and support for industry and others, such as residential complexes for workers and families, restaurant complexes, commercial complexes, business centers, medical complexes, banks, hotels, logistics, transportation and storage services, and other logistical opportunities, in addition to reviewing MODON projects such as industrial incubators and ready-made factories that MODON has started building in all regions of the Kingdom.<\/p>\n
For his part, Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Husseini, Director of the Marketing and Public Relations Department at MODON, revealed. He pointed out that the industrial cities in the Kingdom have attracted investors and entrepreneurs until the number of factories reached 5600 factories spread in 34 industrial cities in the Kingdom, pointing out that this steady increase has promoted development in the Kingdom's regions and provided job opportunities, in addition to its contribution to the localization of modern manufacturing technologies, diversifying the Kingdom's exports, and creating an attractive integrated environment for large, medium and small enterprises.<\/p>\n
During the opening ceremony, HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, honored MODON for its participation in presenting multiple investment opportunities, where Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Husseini, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at MODON, received the shield.<\/p>\n
