Last night, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Amir of the Makkah Region, took a look at the investment opportunities offered by the Investment Launch Initiative and its locations, as well as the job opportunities it provides for young men and women, and addressed the developmental problems in Makkah such as creating alternative sites for workshops and housing for the workers outside the city, which would improve their standard of living, help them perform better, and rid the city of the social problems caused by their presence among the residents.<\/span><\/p>\n

The initiative is launching 111 tenders and more than 2,200 investment units that provide more than 8,000 job opportunities for Saudi youth on an area exceeding four million and four hundred thousand square meters with more than 56 diverse activities between small, medium and large investments.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Engineer Khaled Tahir, Secretary of the Medina Region, delivered a speech in which he pointed out that the initiative stems from the directives and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Emir of the Medina Region and Chairman of the Investment Council of the Region, to meet the basic and recreational needs of the residents of Medina and its visitors.<\/p>\n

Tahar said that the region\u2019s Secretariat, through this initiative, aims to accelerate the economic development of the region through investment opportunities based on the city\u2019s assets and its position among Muslims, in addition to providing self-sufficient income sources to cover the costs of the third chapter (operation and maintenance), and then to finance the development projects of the fourth chapter.<\/p>\n
