The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing has given investors who own shops selling LPG cylinders 60 days to correct their situation, as the deadline to follow the updated regulations expires on 5\/15\/1444 AH, provided that the updated regulations will be implemented after the expiration of the deadline.<\/p>\n
Among the most prominent provisions of the updated executive regulations are the placement of a sign indicating the prices of gas cylinders of all types and sizes, as well as the placement of an external sign for the shop in accordance with the requirements of commercial signs, in addition to allowing the sale of cylinders in self-service vending machines or in cages in outdoor squares within an area designated for this activity in central markets, without causing visual distortion, by using high-quality cages, without the general appearance of these cages causing visual distortion.<\/p>\n
The regulation included requirements related to the shop, equipment and operation, through which the reception area and safety requirements are taken into account in dealing with cylinders, by placing the cylinders vertically with their valves upwards, identifying the locations of empty and filled cylinders and taking into account not \u201crolling\u201d and dragging the cylinder, while providing a small cart for transporting the cylinders.<\/p>\n
The regulation requires gas shop owners to ensure that gas cylinders intended for sale are clean and do not have layers of accumulated dirt that are difficult to clean, as well as shading the storage place of gas cylinders (filled) with fire-resistant materials, and for more information and details, please refer to Updated regulation<\/a><\/span>to avoid the application of fines to violators after
