Companies need a legal framework within which to operate in order to obtain all their rights and fulfill all their obligations towards the state and individuals, so having a legal department that knows Laws, rules and regulations governing the operation of companies<\/a><\/span> It is very important to write contracts between the company and the rest of the state institutions, companies and individuals dealing with it from outside, and to organize work inside the company and set internal regulations that clarify the tasks, rights and duties of each individual within it.<\/p>\n

Formation Legal department<\/a><\/span><\/strong>: It consists of the Director of Legal Affairs, who is the legal advisor to the Board of Directors and provides proactive advice and sets the necessary standards for the safety of the Board of Directors' decisions and risk management. He also cooperates with all directors of the various departments before taking any step or decision to ensure that it is in accordance with the law, and the department consists of a group of legal professionals with sufficient knowledge and experience to study everything related to the company's activity, including regulations, laws, contracts and other legal matters.<\/p>\n

If the company is global and has activities and headquarters in several countries, it is necessary to employ international lawyers - students of private international law - which is the law concerned with the relations, rights and obligations of persons (natural or legal) of different nationalities, so the task of management becomes to scrutinize and know the laws of these countries so that contracts concluded in these countries are not subject to annulment or revocation and thus the company is exposed to financial fines and legal penalties.<\/p>\n

Legal management function:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Many tasks and competencies performed by the Legal Department (internally) such as: Organizing all legal matters from preparing work regulations in accordance with state law, organizing the workflow, receiving and studying employee complaints, providing legal advice to the board of directors before taking any decision, and preparing contracts for the company and drafting them legally to preserve rights.<\/p>\n

(externally): The legal department registers the trademark for the company's various products and patents and follows up on lawsuits to which the company is a party, and the company's legal representative is required to monitor the application of the provisions of the Companies Law in the event of bankruptcy, intellectual property regulations, and all commercial regulations related to the company's activity.<\/p>\n
