of Industry issues 82 new industrial licenses in November"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Announced <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/mim.gov.sa\/mim\/\">Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources<\/a><\/strong><\/span>announced on Monday that it issued 82 new industrial licenses during the month of November, spread across six industrial activities.<\/p>\n<p>The manufacture of food products topped the list with 16 new licenses, followed by the manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products with 14 licenses, the manufacture of fabricated metals excluding machinery and equipment with 12 licenses, and the manufacture of paper and paper products, garments, and chemicals and chemical products with 5 licenses each.<\/p>\n<p>The report issued by the Ministry's National Industrial and Mining Information Center revealed that the total number of industrial licenses issued by the Ministry since the beginning of 2022 until the end of last November amounted to 885 licenses, while the number of <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><a style=\"color: #003366;\" href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/33660\/\">factories<\/a> <\/span><\/strong>As of the end of the same month, there were 10,742 factories in the Kingdom, with an investment volume of 1.419 trillion riyals.<\/p>\n<p>The report showed that the volume of investments in new licenses for the month of November amounted to 7.175 billion riyals, while small enterprises accounted for most of the new industrial licenses during the same month with 85.37 %, followed by medium enterprises with 12.20 %, then micro enterprises with 2.44 %, while national factories recorded the largest percentage of the total licenses issued by type of investment with 82.93 %, then foreign and co-investment facilities with 8.541 TP3T for each category.<\/p>\n<p>The report of the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information indicated that the number of factories that started production during last November amounted to 50 factories, with an investment volume of 830 million riyals, led by non-metallic minerals factories with 11 factories, followed by foodstuffs factories with 10 factories, chemical factories with 6 factories, rubber and plastics factories, base metals factories, and formed metals factories with 4 factories in each category Chemical factories with 6 factories, then rubber and plastics factories, base metal factories, and fabricated metal factories with 4 factories for each category, while national factories accounted for the total number of factories that started production with 90%, followed by foreign factories with 6%, then joint factories with 4%.<\/p>\n<p>The report showed that the new industrial licenses were distributed among 10 administrative regions, led by Riyadh with 30 licenses, followed by the Eastern Province with 21 licenses, the Makkah region with 10 licenses, the Medina region with 8 licenses, Asir region with 4 licenses, Qassim region with 3 licenses, Jizan region and Hail region with 2 licenses each, and Al-Jouf region and Najran region with 1 license each.<\/p>\n<p>It is noteworthy that <strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/34467\/\">Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources<\/a><\/span><\/strong> The National Center for Industrial and Mining Information issues on a monthly basis the most important industrial indicators, which clarify the nature of the movement of industrial activity in the Kingdom, in addition to revealing the size of the change witnessed by the sector in new industrial investments and the size of the jobs provided by the
