Real estate development<\/span>: It was revealed that Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing<\/a><\/strong><\/span> On the training of more than 3,000 real estate developers through the signing of several agreements with business accelerators to establish programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing the capabilities of real estate developers, as part of the joint efforts of a number of government agencies and entities; Participation in the Coordinating Committee for the Development of the Construction Sector.<\/p>\n

The initiative includes providing various forms of \u201cadministrative and operational\u201d support and others through business accelerators that enable real estate developers to successfully complete their projects. This will have a positive impact on increasing the housing supply in the Kingdom, boosting the number of real estate development projects, and developing the capabilities of real estate developers; and improving the efficiency of the real estate development market.<\/p>\n

This initiative is part of a series of initiatives through which the Ministry has participated in the work of the Coordinating Committee for the Development of Contracting sector<\/a><\/strong><\/span>; to advance this vital sector in a way that achieves the objectives Vision 2030<\/a><\/strong><\/span> By increasing employment opportunities and raising this sector\u2019s share of GDP.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that the Coordinating Committee for the Development of the Construction Sector includes Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the Authority for Expenditure Efficiency and Government Projects, the Saudi Contractors Authority, and the Saudi Engineers Authority.<\/p>\n

The Coordinating Committee, chaired by Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, is working to develop the construction sector to strengthen the national economy through 20 initiatives that government agencies are seeking to implement, with the aim of reducing commercial disputes and conflicts in the sector, enhance the capabilities of contractors and real estate developers, increase transparency, combat front companies in the construction sector, and transform contractors\u2019 operations from individual to institutional models, as well as developing policies to ensure that contractors\u2019 capabilities are commensurate with the projects offered in fair competitive bidding processes.<\/p>\n
