Announced Saudi Armed Forces Authority<\/strong><\/a><\/span>on Tuesday announced the organization of the third edition of the International Engineering Conference and Exhibition under the slogan: \u201cEngineering and the Road to 2030\u201d, which will be held in Riyadh from February 27 to March 2, under the patronage of Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail.<\/p>\n

The Secretary-General said Saudi Council of Engineers<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>Engineer Abdulnasser Al-Abdullatif said that the Engineering Conference and Exhibition is an important platform that brings together a group of experts, academics and researchers in the engineering field locally, regionally and internationally to discuss the most prominent topics towards the future of engineering by exchanging ideas and visions, in addition to the best engineering practices and experiences, and ways to develop them, emphasizing the Kingdom's leading role in promoting the engineering sector and its workers.<\/p>\n

Al-Abdullatif explained that the scientific committee of the conference received more than 500 scientific papers aimed at enhancing the content of the conference tracks, which include mechanical engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, architecture, industrial engineering, and electrical engineering.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that the Authority is working to achieve a number of objectives through the conference, the most prominent of which are: Encouraging and empowering national cadres to conduct scientific research, supporting innovation and development in the engineering sector, strengthening the system of cooperation and communication between heads and representatives of international engineering organizations and societies.<\/p>\n
