The second day of the second edition of the International Mining Conference<\/a><\/strong>held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and organized by Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources<\/a><\/strong>amidst a large international presence, at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh.<\/p>\n

The first session of the second day dealt with mining as a development partner to stimulate and accelerate prosperity for societies, with the participation of Hamid Rashid, Head of Global Economic Monitoring, UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Head of BYTP, DTP Mining, Director of BTGC, Ronan Le Roy, Senior Expert of the Sustainable Resources Program, RESOLVE Consulting, Meyer Ngumcia, CEO of Kaz Minerals Andrew Sotham, and Executive Director of the Development Partners Institute, Wendy Terrell.<\/p>\n

International Mining Conference Discussions<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Participants in the session, titled \u201cHow to Become a Mining<\/strong><\/a> A development partner to catalyze and accelerate prosperity for societies?\u201d Developing a mineral supply chain roadmap for the Arab region, providing materials for green energy projects, touching on the concept of prosperity for Mining<\/strong><\/a> and their investments in the region, the challenges they face in achieving it in their fields, as well as the strategic priorities for achieving and sustaining it.<\/p>\n

Participants highlighted the future of Mining<\/strong> <\/span>and how to save their resources, as well as how to engage Mining <\/span>in development to stimulate and accelerate prosperity for communities, support the local supply chain by businesses and investors, and increase operational efficiency and safety to serve the economy.<\/p>\n

They talked about the needs of the countries For mining<\/strong> and infrastructures in the field of Mining<\/strong><\/span><\/a>They emphasized the importance of social partnership between governments and companies to provide social prosperity for people and countries, provide supply chains, and adopt new approaches to create a diversified economy to know where mines and mining are located.<\/p>\n

International Mining Conference First Day Agreements<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The first day of the second edition International Mining Conference<\/strong>The ceremony witnessed the signing of 25 cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding between a number of government agencies, companies and institutions participating in the conference.<\/p>\n

These agreements and memorandums of understanding cover the areas of mining exploration, technology and communications, the application of sustainability standards, localization and qualification, and industrialization in the minerals sector. The signing ceremony also witnessed the handing over of the exploration licenses for the Khuneikia and Umm Al Damar sites to the winning companies.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Geological Survey, Ma'aden, General Organization for Desalination of Salt Water, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, King Saud University, Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Saudi Aramco, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Federation of Saudi Chambers, and the Industrial Center were among the local entities participating in the signing ceremony.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
