Signed Downtown Saudi Company\u201c<\/a><\/strong><\/span>One of the companies wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology during the \u201cLEAP\u201d technical conference held in Riyadh.<\/p>\n

The memorandum aims to explore ways of cooperation in the field of development and investment in digital infrastructure and communications technologies in the company\u2019s projects, which will be developed in 12 cities in the Kingdom, in addition to exploring cooperation opportunities to encourage investments in digital infrastructure and activate modern communications technologies.<\/p>\n

The agreement was signed by both the board member and the acting CEO. Downtown Saudi Company<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u201dNaif bin Saleh Al-Hamdan, and the Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Communications and Infrastructure, Engineer Bassam bin Abdullah Al-Bassam.\u201d.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Al-Hamdan said: \u201cThrough this partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Downtown Saudi aims to cooperate in planning investment for the digital infrastructure of the company\u2019s projects, aligning with communications and data service providers, exploring opportunities to use modern technologies in the field of smart cities and other important aspects of cooperation, which will contribute to enriching the experience of residents, visitors and the business sector in the company\u2019s projects in 12 cities in the Kingdom.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that Downtown Saudi Company\u201c<\/a><\/strong><\/span> It will work on developing and creating urban destinations and centers with a sustainable economic and social impact in 12 cities in the Kingdom, namely Madinah, Al-Ahsa, Al-Khobar, Buraidah, Taif, Arar, Hail, Tabuk, Dumat Al-Jandal, Jizan, Najran and Al-Baha; the projects will be built on a total area estimated at more than 10 million square meters and will contribute to stimulating economic activity and improving the quality of life in those cities, in addition to creating more options and new opportunities in various sectors including shopping, entertainment, hospitality, tourism, office spaces, housing and others.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
