The projects aim to make the Kingdom a destination for innovation and digital entrepreneurship by supporting the growth of <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/28048\/\">Startups<\/a><\/strong><\/span> and SMEs, accelerate the gaming industry, ignite competition in the fields of research, development and innovation, and stimulate the ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>The launch of the funds comes as a result of the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), which eventually led to their announcement at the LEAP 23 conference, currently organized by MCIT in cooperation with the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SFCD) and Tahaluf.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry said that at the forefront of these funds is the launch of STV's first Sharia-compliant alternative finance fund to enable the growth of technology companies with a value of $150 million, and IMPACT46 announced the launch of a $133 million fund targeting tech startups in the Kingdom, the Middle East and North Africa announced the launch of a $133 million fund targeting tech startups in the Kingdom and the MENA region.<\/p>\n<p>Among the eight launches was Merak Capital's $53 million private equity fund to support tech companies in the Kingdom, followed by the Saudi Investment Bank's announcement of $40 million to launch an incubator for fintech and other innovations to contribute to the growth of the financial sector.<\/p>\n<p>For its part, Rakiza has launched a fund <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/27050\/\">Bold investment<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>backed by a $25 million global accelerator in Riyadh.<\/p>\n<p>The announcements included the launch of BIM VENTURES, a $100 million business development company, through its company building studio to create innovative and financially sustainable tech startups in partnership with the Sulaiman Group, followed by the launch of Shorooq, its second fund to invest in growing companies in the Kingdom, and the launch of another fund to accelerate electronic games with a value of $115 million.<\/p>\n<p>PLANETARY CAPITAL has concluded a round of announcements <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/53593\/\">Mutual funds<\/a><\/strong><\/span> For the second day, the company announced the launch of the first Saudi-Canadian fund to invest in local and international space technology startups, with a value of $30 million.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> &lt;
