Knight Dragon, a leading global real estate developer, has announced details of the company's expansion plans in the Middle East with the opening of an office in Riyadh in the fourth quarter of this year.<\/p>\n
The company has also indicated its interest in identifying several partnerships in the Middle East by the developer to share its proven expertise and capacity in the fast-growing areas of token construction, real estate blockchain technology, modular integrated construction, and modern lightweight concrete.<\/p>\n
Sammy Lee, Vice Chairman of Knight Dragon, said: \u201cSaudi Arabia has become a global leader and influencer in visionary infrastructure projects with plans to invest hundreds of billions of dollars over the next decade.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lee continued: \u201cJust looking at NEOM alone shows the scale of the Saudi leadership's $500 billion investment ambition, spanning 26,500 square kilometers from the Kingdom's northwestern border to Jordan and Egypt, with construction and development expected to be completed by 2030. It will be roughly the size of Belgium and include four mega-cities including Sindalla, Trujina, Oxagon and Laine.\u201d<\/p>\n
Real estate accounts for 7% of Saudi Arabia's GDP, making it an important sector that supports many other sectors. As the Saudi economy diversifies, the goal is to double the sector's contribution to GDP to 10% in 2030.
