Concluded Public Authority for Real Estate<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>Its participation in the first Qatar Real Estate Forum, which was held in Doha on June 4-5, 2023 under the theme \u201cRegulations and legislation for optimal quality of life and a sustainable real estate industry\u201d.<\/p>\n

During his participation in the \u201cGovernance of the Real Estate Sector\u201d session, Abdullah Al Hammad, CEO of the Authority, stressed that the importance and impact of the economic and developmental impact of the real estate sector in the Gulf has led governments to establish specialized real estate bodies and institutions to govern the sector, propose legislation and real estate regulations and promote investment.<\/p>\n

He explained that government bodies and institutions responsible for the real estate sector control the relationship between the parties to real estate transactions through laws and regulations that contribute to raising confidence and preserving rights, and that the roles of real estate bodies are summarized in achieving reliability in the real estate sector, protecting and preserving rights and raising the efficiency of systems in addressing challenges that may arise at any stage of real estate transactions and adapting to them.<\/p>\n

Engineer Al-Hammad pointed out that the comprehensive strategy for the real estate sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the main framework for the General Authority for Real Estate in implementing its roles through the initiatives, projects and indicators included in the strategy, and the Authority works in integration with the private sector to develop legislation and improve and develop the beneficiary's experience in the journey of any real estate product.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe real estate market is positively affected by the integration of real estate and development legislation, as their integration enhances the quality of legislative outputs in the real estate sector,\" he said, stressing that the most important challenge in the governance of the real estate sector is not the creation of legislation but the efficiency of legislation, which can be measured by achieving the common goals of the three main parties in real estate transactions; government agencies, the private sector, and the beneficiary.<\/p>\n

During his participation in the session \u201cDigital Innovation for a Sustainable Real Estate Industry\u201d, Secretary General of the Off-Map Sales Committee (Wafi) Nayef Al-Sharif explained that the real estate sector in the Kingdom is witnessing a continuous developmental renaissance in its various fields and has all the potential to create an investment real estate environment, especially in the off-plan sales sector, adding that the announcement of renewed legislation to develop regulations and regulations will create ease in transactions and governance of procedures.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cThe development of off-plan sales projects contributed to raising the status of local content and enabled Saudi families to own their homes through the diversified residential real estate supply. In the same discussion session, the Director General of Strategic Communication, Tayseer Al-Mufaraj, emphasized that the real estate brokerage system came as a model for legislation aimed at preserving the rights of dealers and raising the quality of real estate transactions, in addition to providing innovative and quality real estate services to beneficiaries, reviewing the details of the procedures included in the system to contribute to raising market transparency and raising reliability in the real estate sector.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the business development manager explained at the General Real Estate Authority<\/a><\/strong><\/span> Ziad Al-Shammari said that real estate innovation has become a necessity due to the technical development in the region, and there are many examples of this, and the most important thing is to support and embrace them for their effective contributions to the maturity of the real estate sector market, and added that developing innovative capabilities is through providing training courses and providing innovation spaces with international standards that directly contribute to the sustainability of the real estate sector, and that modernity, effectiveness and value are one of the most important criteria by which the success of any innovative model is measured.<\/p>\n

In the axis of real estate products, the Director of Strategic Partnerships in the Solutions Sector at the National Housing Company (the operator of the Ejar program), Maria Al-Dubaikhi, spoke about the Ejar program, which is one of the most prominent and important digital government platforms in the Kingdom that provides its services to millions of beneficiaries, noting that the number of rental contracts in the platform exceeded (6) million contracts, (30) thousand real estate brokers licensed with a (Val) license for brokerage and marketing, and more than (6) million registered units Al-Dubaikhi explained the services provided by Ejar platform to facilitate the beneficiaries to practice their rental transactions in the real estate sector, such as contract documentation and management service, receipt and delivery service, transfer of electricity and water bills to the tenant, as well as services that enhance transparency and increase the reliability and credibility of the real estate market, such as the rental behavior and rental index services.<\/p>\n

The first Qatar Real Estate Forum, which concluded today, addressed a number of topics and experiences related to regulations and legislation, and their role in achieving a sustainable real estate industry, with the participation of more than 35 speakers and about 1500 representatives of the government and private sectors, real estate developers and experts in this field.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
