Saudi Green Building Forum<\/span><\/h4>\n

The new session of the forum will discuss a number of current challenges related to climate change, rising temperatures, and environmental pollution in cities, and will explore opportunities to leverage the concept of green buildings, with the participation of leading policymakers, practitioners, and business and industry organizations from the public and private sectors in the Middle East and various countries, as well as aspects of sustainable development and measuring progress toward limiting global temperature rise.
\nThe forum aims to highlight the efforts of public and private sector institutions in the field of green buildings, in conjunction with Climate Week in the Middle East and North Africa region, and in preparation for participation in the Blue Zone exhibition at the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) on Climate Change, to be held in the United Arab Emirates at the end of November.
\nThe forum\u2019s secretary-general, Engineer Faisal Al-Fadl, emphasized that the Saudi Green Building Forum serves as a global platform for discussing the most important issues and challenges related to urban pollution and rising temperatures, and promoting the use of green building practices. He noted that the building sector accounts for more than 20% of final energy consumption and offers significant commercial and economic opportunities.
